title: Stolen dasart

text: My Dasarts block was number 6. It seemed to be a very intensive block. My notebook testifies of extremes. I cherish all of them. From building a walkaway to listening to a story for 5 days.
That was 1997. In 2000 I looked up a few things when I was brainstorming with a colleague for a dancefilm- a sirrupy walz old couples would be dancing in a swimmingpool 1,5 m deep-.
This is not the dasart, but what it could be lies in what happened next:
After my meeting I cycled home with the notebook in the rearbag. I stopped for a sandwich at a Surinam/Hindu snackbar. Didn't lock my bike. When returning outside I saw a gang of little Marrocan kids speeding away on my bike with notebook. It felt like a great loss. When anger faided I thought: Suppose I had to explain what the content of my notebook really meant, to this or any group, I would have failed surely. Like trying to explain why a caterpillar turns into a butterfly.
So my notebook has not been stolen, but was by fate mysteriously transformed into a dasart.
As was the aftereffect in my memory, reflected in all projects I undertake.
It possibly still puzzles the boy who might have kept the notebook. Bragging to his friends he has a real dasart at home, but allowes nobody to see it.
